What is a Teleclass?
Teleclasses are live, interactive training classes conducted over the telephone through the latest state-of-the-art teleconferencing bridge system.
Who participates?
Students from all over the world come together in a virtual classroom by way of our telephone bridge line. This 21st century learning, allows you to participate from the comfort of your home or office or wherever you may be. All this convenience with no travel time involved!
You do not need a computer in order to be in the class. All you need is a regular phone!
Note: The cost to call one of our bridges is a standard long distance charge. There are no conferencing fees, so you would just pay your long distance carrier whatever your rates are. Most telephone companies charge from 3-10 cents/minute depending on your plan & many offer unlimited calling with a certain monthly charge. Please pick the one that is right for you!
Please observe the following suggestions to enhance your teleclass auditing experience.
- Use a land telephone for the best phone reception for you and for others in the class.
Headsets can be used
Cell phones can be used.
No internet phones or speaker phones
No cordless phones, speaker phones, internet phones
- Disable the "Call Waiting" feature on your phone. To do this on most phones, dial *70. The "Call Waiting" feature is reinstated once you hang up.
- Turn off the ringer to the second line when using a multi-line phone.
- Call in to the class on time so the class can start on time with minimal interruption.
To connect to the teleclass (Virtual Classroom)
1) Dial the Conference Dial-In number that you receive via e-mail.
2) At the prompt, enter the PIN Code followed by the # key
You may or may not hear music until the Leader enters the call.
To mute/un-mute your individual phone line, press * 6.
